They are all a bunch of fucking thugs
I am TIRED of holding my tongue about the obama supporters I see in my area--at the caucus and on the street and here on this board. I'm finally going to say it because I do NOT care if I get banned.
THUGS...they are all a bunch of thugs. This entire country is going to erupt in a race riot because of these thugs. Obama uses race baiting very subtly but very effectively in his campaign. It is obscene but it is working on the poor and uneducated supporters of his who are becoming his street warriors.
I am not speaking of EVERY obama supporter because it does not apply--but the core of them are THUGS who feel that they are OWED this presidency and BY GOD THEY WILL GET WHAT IS OWED TO THEM, even if it takes gang warfare to achieve.
I'm so fucking tired of them--they hijacked the majority of the caucuses in Texas and most of them don't even know his platform. They can only tell you he is black.
They put out that story that Clinton said that it was important to get the packet because that is the way it is done. And it was important.
It was important to get it LEGALLY. Not take it illegally. They put that memo out so that they could justify their fucking thuggy behavior AFTER the truth starting coming out of the tactics they employed to get the packets illegally. Well...Hillary put out a memo that said to get it...we just beat her too it. Yeah...they beat the Clinton camps to it because the Clinton camps followed the rules. They didn't fucking STEAL the packets.
You want racist? It IS racist.
If you don't vote for someone because he is black THAT is racist. If you vote for someone strictly because he is black--THAT is racist too.
The CBC twisting arms and threatening the members that DON'T support Obama shows that this thuggery transcends financial and social classes.
THE Obama campaign has been running an under-the-radar RACIST campaign--you see it in their grassroots...in the out-of-staters that they send to "run" the caucuses. You see it in the supporters on this board. They are all a bunch of fucking thugs.

3. Correct. Absolutely.
They are the divisive force
in the party, not the Hillary
supporters. Let's see Obama
try to reign them in if he
does not get what is 'owed
to him'.
I see a lot of racism, albeit
subtle like you mentioned. It
is still there.

7. If I got my history right, the Nazi brownshirts did exactly that in Munich in the '20s.

It's scary, the blind fanaticism of many of his followers. I also genuinely fear for Hillary's safety. Hope those Secret Service men do their job well.

Edited to spell out my meaning of 'SS' - inappropriate-seeming in this context!

8. And it's getting uglier by the minute.
In his wildest dreams Karl Rove couldn't have drummed up a more perfect scheme to tear the Democratic Party to pieces. He must be laughing his ass off that the Obama campaign has managed to achieve in just a few short months what the neocons have been working on for decades.

9. I agree one hundred percent. I am soo sick of this too.It is racist.
It was racist during the Debate when Obama referred to himself as "making hisory as a "AA male and then referred to Hillary as "a woman" and then hesitated and said, " And then there is..... John.". And laughed. Can you imagine if this had been reversed? Could Edwards have said "this is a historic race where I am running as a while American male and Hillary is a woman, and then there is pause.... Barack" ? And he said it 3 times during that last Debate with the three of them to make "sure" he got the point across.

I am sick of Bill and Hillary being called racist for any statement of fact they make. It is beyond disgusting.I am tired of every concievable form of sexism being "justified" and racism tolerated if it goes only one way. Black preachers advising congregations to vote for Obama because he is "Black" are racist. Jesse Jackson Jr. threatening Black Sd's with primary opponents if they don't support Barack is practicing racism.

There have been posts right here on DU wwhere some have said that we need to get "rid" of the old white males. And that is racism too as far as I am concerned.

It's sickening. I have decided I will cease making donations for one year, and reassess my donor status at that time.

15. Yup. He had to separate Hillary from her long time supporters in the black community.
Now to hear people talk it is like she is and has been a racist. It is sad to see what lengths they will go to. They don't care if they destroy the legacy of her life's work fighting for equality for all. It seems to have all been forgotten. This proves the drive in Obama to be president is scary aggressive.

16. Which is why that false 'she'll do anything to win' meme they keep repeating really galls me -
...it's BO who'll do anything to win. Tell absolute lies to destroy the Clintons, who have done more for the blacks than BO ever has. In his Chicago run for state senator, his speeches would include things like, 'my candidacy goes beyond my race' - not wanting to be tied down by the black community issues.

But when it's politically convenient for him, he'll use his racial ethnicity to get the black vote. Sadly, it seems to have worked - very well, too, seeing how the black voters have preferred him in such lopsided numbers.

14. I got called a "fucking bigot" tonight...
because I pointed out that it is as wrong to vote for a candidate because of his race as it is not to vote for a candidate because of his race.

They are thugs. Anyone who says that Hillary's supporters here or out in the real world are as bad as Obama thugs is lying to themself.

...is a piece of BS. There's no comparison, and the observer's bias only shows itself in these comments.

21. Last I heard and I will try to find a link
there is really NOTHING that can be done, even with proof. What I did hear was that Boyd Richie has distanced himself from the process saying that the rules were in place when he took over the party, so this isn't his fault. Nice, eh?
They are going to take a hard look at the process though and my guess is that this WILL NOT happen again.
Sad thing is...it happened.
The caucus results are a sham.
And obama will probably win because of his thugs intimidation tactics.
Take a look at this though--interesting place for this to be posted.

22. You got that right!
And, I am really sorry to say it... but my conscience will not allow me to vote for someone who receives our nomination via mafia-esque tactics.

I am really afriad I will have to abstain from voting for the top of our ticket in November. I'll vote Dem downticket, of course. But I simply cannot accept a presidential candidate who is there through strategic bullying.

The caucuses. The Superdelegates. The "Monster" comment. The "scratach Bill's eyes out" comment. Too much for me......

23. I've been thinking lately that that the fans are angrier and angrier because
the inability to knock-out blow to Clinton pokes a fatal hole in their storyline. Everyone is supposed to love Obama and feel the opposite about Clinton, and they can't stand any suggestion that anyone might admire Clinton or feel strongly in favor of her... or, worse yet, NOT feel drawn to Obama. NOT offer a crown to him or feel he's "owed" the nom (ironic, since I've felt for a long time now that the charge they laid at Clinton on that score was really Obama's).

It's like it's too much cognitive dissonance. I'm guessing they'll get angrier and angrier. I'm taking the non-participation route. I've just stopped going to DU except here -- not sure if that will change, but for now, that's how it is. In any case, I understand where you're coming from. I kept quiet for a long time on this, but I figure anyone not on board with the unity train will get tossed eventually anyway, so what's the point? So, here goes: yep, they're angry bullies and I don't want anything to do with the movement, thanks. And since it is supposed to be a movement, I do think it says something about Obama. If he's so amazing, why does the movement need to expend so much hate on Clinton? And, the anonymity of a message board just gives free license to all that. I'm done with them.

24. thank you for seeing the whole darn truth.
there is a fire burning underbrush and it will erupt into hell fire of BO is not given the presidency. BO knows this very well. He is underhandedly stoking the flames. And he won't do anything to douse them with water and put them out. He wants that oval office as badly as bush wanted baghdad. They say BO's father had ties to,or sympathized with, the Mau Maus in Africa. I do not know whether that is true or not, nor do I know, if it is true, how much of an influence that might be exerting on BO to incite the country into any sort of revolution or riot ... but we do know that ancestry does matter...Prescott Bush and GWB are great factual proof of that.
