As an EX evangelical
I can tell you that should Obama be the nominee and the stuff about Wright comes out the Evangelicals will flock to the polls to vote for McCain.

It's going to be ugly.

1. I think so too. If the MSM doesn't run with it now
it WILL be brought out in the GE.

Obama's Pastor: God Damn America, U.S. to Blame for 9/11
Obama's Pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Has a History of What Even Obama's Campaign Aides Say Is 'Inflammatory Rhetoric'

The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama's pastor for the last 20 years at the Trinity United Church of Christ on Chicago's south side, has a long history of what even Obama's campaign aides concede is "inflammatory rhetoric," including the assertion that the United States brought on the 9/11 attacks with its own "terrorism."

..

An ABC News review of dozens of Rev. Wright's sermons, offered for sale by the church, found repeated denunciations of the U.S. based on what he described as his reading of the Gospels and the treatment of black Americans.

"The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing 'God Bless America.' No, no, no, God damn America, that's in the Bible for killing innocent people," he said in a 2003 sermon. "God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme."

In addition to damning America, he told his congregation on the Sunday after Sept. 11, 2001 that the United States had brought on al Qaeda's attacks because of its own terrorism.

"We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye," Rev. Wright said in a sermon on Sept. 16, 2001.

4. You do know O'Reilly ran it for almost an hour tonight
And said eventually the left wing media will have to pick it up if we push it hard enough. Granted I'm not a FOX watcher but I can't take KO or Tweety at this time slot and Larry King is boring.

6. This is the thing...
...that kind of talk is NOT going to play well in Main Street USA!

Add to that the totally hateful racist-mongering that he fills his other talk with, calling the 'rich, white folks' the ENEMY, and that Hillary is part of 'the enemy' - well, that is just repulsive, to denounce someone as unworthy, one who has done so much in public service, merely for not having the 'right' skin colour. Not to mention his utterly absurd claims about Barack - State and US Senator, Harvard Law grad - not being rich and privileged - give me a break! Those are complete falsehoods, and anyone without blinders can see that. It is racism, any way you spin it.

Did someone forget to mention that the title of one of BO's books, 'The Audacity of Hype - er, Hope' was taken from one of Wright's speeches, too?

14. Are you saying ....
If they were considering Obama this will send them to McCain? Or, they weren't going to vote for anyone in the primaries but this will drive them to McCain?

Why won't they go to Hillary?

18. On Morning Joe, too - K & R jackson_dem's video, PLEASE! LINK here:
Joe S and the other guy are raising real concern about this, and how close JW has been to BO - while the woman (what's-her-name, don't watch the show often) keeps trying to play it down.

Good on Joe and that other guy!
