Obama named his book Audacity of Hope after one of Wright's sermons.

In his book and elsewhere Obama has called Wright his "spiritual adviser." Obama and his family have been attending Wright's church for 20 years. Wright married Barack and Michelle, and baptized both their children. WHY would anybody be so closely connected with a minister for so long, even naming a book after one of his sermons if there was not a lot of similarity between their beliefs. I, for one, would NEVER attend a church, for such a long period of time, whose minister I found offensive and alien to my belief system.

1. Tell the country and the world that he is proud that Wright has been his
mentor and spiritual guide for 20 years

or

2. Tell the country and the world that he spent 20 years putting up with Wright's
ministry in order to use the church's influence for his personal campaign goals.
