They have no problem bashing Clinton day in and day out but anytime something serious comes up about their beloved Messiah, we're the fuckers.

I used to see a unified ticket, but they don't want unity. They want all our warfare.

But the few people I talked to said after seeing those videos they would vote for McCain before they would vote for Obama and they are democrats from birth. Sad isn't it.

4. We can still have a unified ticket. Put Mayor Nutter or Rep. Cleaver

or Reps. Stephanie Tubbs Jones or Maxine Waters on the ticket. Maybe a guy so they don't feel left out, LOL. I would love to be able to vote for the first woman and first AA on one ticket. How in the hell did Obama surge to the fore in front of so many superior and viable Black candidates?

It really makes you question the reasons for BO's meteoric rise from a humdrum state senator to current contender as Dem nominee. All while bypassing a more substantial tenure as US senator, which Hillary, for her part, put in genuine hard work first - but she's just an ambitious, power-hungry bitch who cares nothing about anything but that presidency, isn't she? - even if she has a documented record of praiseworthy public service.

It's kind of funny, but just about all of my least favorite people on this board from long before this campaign ended up supporting Obama. Even some of the long time posters I had respect for seem to have lost their minds. It's like you have to turn half your brain off to support Obama.

The weirdest thing is how so much of the pro Obama thing is actually anti Hillary. So few of these folks can tell you why they're voting for Obama - but they can sure pile it on when it comes to why they're voting against Hillary!

8. What I find interesting is that the Obama campaign has stumbled upon this vast

treasure trove of apparent mental health professionals. Many with issues of their own, as evidenced by the frothing at the mouth, but perfectly willing to give you their expert opinion on how you/I must be mentally deranged.... under stress and not thinking like an adult.... how we/I should seek professional help immediately; above all else, stay away from the computer!

Amazing, really. To be totally honest - up until this time I had no idea that the mental health industry was so tightly packed with such ... um ... er ... well ... "interesting characters."

A few days ago the GD was full of horrified and shaming comments about Ferraro's racism. Today it's all AOK with Wright's blatant racism. What gives?
Ferraro was merely pointing out that Obama was picked to be THE BLACK CANDIDATE- cast as a character in the soap opera we call the presidential election.
Rev. Wright on the other hand seems to show a genuine hatred towards whites and a disgust with America. Which one is really racism?
I would say Democrats are sensitive to the non-PC approved comments like Ferraro's and are tolerant of black racism due to white guilt. I guess that is some of our strength too.
But in an election such as this-with the first viable black candidate-that person has to promote Racial Harmony in all ways and at all times. It's a requirement!
I can't believe the Obama supporters don't see this. And I can't believe that they don't see the double standard on racism that they are promoting.

by Ferraro to 20 years of hate filled sermons by Wright. And if some of us white liberals can't wrap our minds around the double standard we're supposed to embrace (white racism-bad; black racism-justified) of course our less liberal white brethren aren't even going to make an attempt. Really, why would they? What is the first thing people do when attacked? They sure as hell don't reach out and embrace the one who slapped them. Unless they are saints, and there aren't many of those living in America. White guilt doesn't factor into Middle America's decision making about who to vote for. Even without all the hating on white people Wright was yelling about, the G*d Damn America would be quite enough.
I really think we could have an historic and unifying election if Hillary would put a viable AA candidate on the ticket, someone who really does embody the best of what MLK preached, not what Jeremiah Wright preached. I know there are many wonderful possibilities out there, and I've mentioned some in other threads.
