This trend is really important. If it continues, Wright may be doing serious damage to Obama's campaign.

1. Wow
Hey Herman you are a fellow poll observer. If you have time I would like to hear your two cents in this GDP thread: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x5102726

3. Compassion?
I'm new here, though I am highly opinionated as you can see by my posts. Hope it offends no one.

Can I suggest that we be sensitive and compassionate to our fellow Democrats who were seriously duped by Obama.

It will take a lot of them a while to adjust. Some never will.

Not suggesting we be doormats and some of them have really gone to town and way over board bashing Hillary -- attributing to her all the attacks on Obama (most from the right) and so on and so forth. And abusing some of us (here I suppose because I found it elsewhere) all over the Net for supporting her.

But it must be hard losing faith in someone who they thought was a transformative politican.

I think we can be bigger that's all.

There was a time not so long ago at all I advocated for the dream ticket.

That, is O-vah.

Hillary supporters have been treated with the most VILE contempt imaginable here. I feel NO obligation to be even moderately civil to any of the bad actors here. A very few O supporters have shown restraint and should be regarded accordingly, the rest of them have worked hard to purchase my contempt and they deserve it.

5. I meant we want them to vote for Hillary
Not kiss a---. Some definitely will be switching, we keep the votes for Hillary but not rubbing their noses in it. Be smart, not vindictive. That's all.

(Get them later. Heh.)

7. Replying late here. No more! The gloves are off. I do not want this man
anywhere near the WH. Besides all the baggage he's carrying right now, McClame will have him for lunch in the GE. Sorry, their once was a time I would have been delighted with a dream ticket. No more!!! He would drag down Hillary with all the shit the right-wing will throw at him. They can drown in their own koolaid for all I care.

NO MORE!!!

8. While you're right about needing everyone's votes, have you seen the replies
to the thread linked in the OP? DU is the last place to get people to rally around Hillary - freepers have infested the BO camp and are setting the tone for it.
I agree that schadenfreude is not the way to go, but "compassion" is a word that lost its meaning since W overspent it.

6. Ignore the weekend polls--weekend polls are notoriously unreliable.
It looks good for her.

10. Let's hope this is a real trend! And it's obviously due to J Wright affair.
It’s Obama 46% Clinton 45% (see recent daily results). This reflects an unusually sharp change from yesterday’s results when Obama led by eight points and reached the 50% level of support for the first time. Daily tracking results are collected via nightly telephone surveys and reported on a four-day rolling average basis. Last night’s results were very favorable for Clinton and it remains to be seen whether this marks a lasting change in the race or is merely statistical noise. Single night results are based upon very small samples and are more volatile than the overall tracking poll.

On the other hand, these polls still have McCain leading both Dems? I'm thinking that's only because we haven't got a nominee yet whom most will get behind.
