How this life ceased to appear A tragic river of God's tears As I enforced my bodied charm To tend to treasures in your arms!
I embrace thee precious springtime, For this winter bore me harm.
How past lonely scourge of evening Brought by unrequited feeling Of a lover on the run was purged from me this morning sun!
You reward me precious springtime, Thus your call shall not be shunned.
How your bounty versed in beauty Grabbed my gaze and whispered truly Of what-is and what shall be When veils of Self are lifted free!
You inform me precious springtime, Of my Self and of my Me.
How your scented blooming trees Fueled by those recently deceased Affirms there really is no death After a man's last labored breath!
You attune me precious springtime, Now I hear life's secrets kept. How the sunlight 'top the seas Reveals horizons I perceive To be reminders of the truth That all is one and all goes on!
With you always I'll be springtime, Don't forget me when you've gone.
