A note to whoever buys my property
Edited on Sat May-21-05 04:42 PM by JitterbugPerfume
I have loved every single

flower, herb, bush and tree

so

to who ever is going to live here

This is

my urgent plea:

The hummingbirds love red honeysuckle

the Monarchs prefer milkweed

And the Lilac finally bloomed this year

Lavender among the leaves

there is lemon balm is all over

but I started it from seed

now---

The orioles like orange slices

the finches

need niger seed

sunflower seed suffices

to

fill the cardinals

culinary needs

So
if you'll kindly care for them

And shower them with affection

I promise I will not haunt you

And curse your deriliction

5. many memories here
I became a widow , right in there,in that bedroom, where I still sleep, eight years ago> I have had tears and laughter here, and lonliness that was at times almost unbearable

but now I am moving on

6. Oh My
Memories are treasure, keep them always. My heart aches for your loneliness, I think that is the worst thing to endure. I wish you much happiness, love and luck in your new place.

9. jitterbug, I love this poem.
While it must be hard for you to leave a place that you have lived for so long, this poem will be there to remind you.... I'd take some pictures, print it out in a font you like, and frame it together!
