some miscellaneous poems

Sun Dome

Within Heaven
a blazing teardrop slips
reaching the almighty
and resting on the sun dome path
before treading onward.

Plunging

Plunging into quivering ocean
in the sun that does not set
evenings azure finger tips
gently stroke
hot faces fixed
like the wind
warm and encompassing
as we surrender to the horizon
innocent and free
renewed
with un-imaginable bliss
floating down
to the sundome surface.

By End

By end love was very soft
and my shell dropped
and you left satisfied
and I tried not to fall
out a window as I said goodbye.

Rootbeer

How can I wash away your tears
remember the taste of Rootbeer
think of the time you were in pain
when things got bad you yelled my name
the poems so sad they made us cry
and pictures so grand
they assulted our eyes
we made love like a ravaging feast
when your words aroused me to ecstacy
it's not over yet, sit down and drink
a Rootbeer.

Death of a Wizard
Justin '98

He put the fairy in the fairy tell
the books in the book store
the things that make the folklore
the complex character that created strife

he was the genius of ingenius
the king of the kingdom
the wicked and the holy one
who challenged everything we'd known
and wrote the rules and threw the show

he was the creator and the instigator
the wizard and the faker
in the books on the shelf he showed us ourself
he was the maker and the undertaker
that ripped apart our scripts and gave us life.

1. Wonderful
My favorite poem as a whole from these would have to be "Rootbeer." I like the passion in that poem. It's kind of steamy. But my favorite lines were in "Death of a Wizard."

"he was the maker and the undertaker
that ripped apart our scripts and gave us life."

I love that.
