G'head. Try to bang one out right now, instead of digging up something you already wrote. They're easy!
I'll start:

As I grew older I learned my lesson;
One cannot please everyone that one meets.
Put out little effort, keep the best in,
And save for your best friends your greatest treats.
But is that any way to live your life?
Not knowing what you could have taken back?
For age cuts through your dreams like a sharp knife,
Till you're too old to go on the attack.
So test your dreams, don't wait till tomorrow.
For if you wait, your life may pass you by.
Shall I leave myself with naught but sorrow,
When Death calls and says, "Home you now must hie?"
No, when I'm on my death bed, I will say
I would not have done it another way.
