MY POETIC LICENSE

My license has expired, it needs to be renewed,
before I hit someone upon the road and find that I am sued.

Ogden Nash was short of cash the limits he was exceeding
the officer who caught him said he found him speeding.

William Yeats he wrecked his heap the wheelies were too bold
his license was suspended for the circles he had mowed.

The list goes on forever whose license were returned
while driving down that crooked road where they crashed and burned.

Doesn't it just frost you that you know not where to turn
when you are lost with miles to go for your license they did spurn?

At last I find my carriage crashed while driving unrenewed
so I am looking through my mail to find if I've been sued.
