Heya yall.. A question...
I have my own alchy demons to deal with.. which i take responsibility for and do my dambnest to control...

However something said by a family member is just chapping my ass..

I live in Ohio and had a DUI. In this state you get a yellow plate for a year to designate that you had a dui.. During this time my Grandmother did not want me coming over to her house because she did not want neighborhood people seeing my plates...

Seriosuly, that was it...

well, now the plates are off.. So im welcome back...

this sound screwed up to anyone else?

2. this is a tough one
Is it possible that she may be a very private person who believes that family problems are better not broadcast to the neighbors...and that liscense plate may have felt to her like a neon sign? Perhaps she felt the neighbors might be gossiping about her... I think that were I in your shoes I might just respect that and forgive her and let it go. :hi:

3. I echo what both AZDemDist6 and idgiehkt said.
With a small addition (you may not want to hear it).

Not being able to drive to your grandma's house with the yellow plates is a consequence of your getting a DUI. I know it sounds harsh, but it is a consequence.
