2. thanks Kaj. he's one of the staples of our little town's AA and

he's got a powerful message to the roughnecks (literally -- oil field workers) and miners who get court ordered in.

he's got 8 years sober and he looks and talks like the guys who come in. he carries the message with straight honesty and no bullshit.

he's become a good friend in the months I lived here and I am just hoping he'll be back. It was a bad accident. thanks for your thoughts :hug:

Mark is home and back to meetings :woohoo:

he's scarred and weak, but completely self sufficient, mentally competent and off all pain meds other than an occasional aspirin.

He was overwhelmed by the love, calls and prayers we bombarded him with and said today "I don't know why my Higher Power decided to keep me on the planet, I should be dead, but am so glad to be back."

thanks to anyone who sent a little love and light to this man who can speak to our court ordered roustabouts and miners like no one else. He is a very special man with a very powerful message.
