Now, I feel that I can celebrate!

I have always prefaced any statement about my sobriety with "...If I make it to that point in time". Well, my sober birthday was yesterday, but I wasn't posting after about 11:00PM, and wanted to have completed the day before I posted about it. I made it another 24 hours! I now have 12 years, clean and sober, and happier than I could ever have imagined. During that 12 years, I have earned an MA, and am about to complete my Ph.D. dissertation. To anyone from Lubbock, TX reading this, I send my hugs to the city where I cleaned up.:hi:

2. Funny thing about that...

I was never superstitious before I got cleaned up. I am not really very superstitious now, but with anything that has to do with my sobriety, I am, perhaps overly, cautious.
