It's my 1st anniversary!

I didn't even realize that until late today. It's so nice to be obsessed about my kitchen remodel, and not about getting booze for the night. I don't think I have ever gone a full year in my entire drinking life without any alcohol.

I mostly lurk here, but I just wanted to do a little virtual victory dance and say "yes, it can be done!" Life can be sober and good with the help of people like here and AA. It took me a little while to really warm up to AA and I still don't reach out and call people perhaps like I should but I am so grateful for my home group and actually look forward to meetings. Thanks and yippee!!
