my beloved stepmother has elevated liver enzymes and triglycerides. The Doc is sending her for an ultrasound to rule out pancreatic or liver cancer.

She's a daily drinker and has been for years.

I need to just butt out. I can love her be family, but I can't 12 step her.

we'll just have to see how it shakes out.

I'm headed over there Thursday AM and should be there a week or so. I'll have my laptop so I'll stay in touch

and I'm definitely hitting a meeting when I'm there.
