1. Glad to see you here.
Let go of the shame. Nothing to be ashamed of. You will not be judged by me at all. Call your local AA office and find several meetings to attend.

When you get there, get a phone list, a meeting list and some literature.

2. good morning!!
Nothing to be ashamed of lady, that's why they call it a disease. If you had control you wouldn't need help right?

Once you drink, you get drunk. That's all our stories. It's not the 3rd or the 5th or the 12th drink that gets us, it's the first one.

Get to a meeting. don't drink between the meetings and get to another meeting. Don't worry about what the boyfriend thinks, what the kids think, just do what YOU need to do to get better.

And keep us posted eh?

7. Shame is the disease, a great excuse to drink. This weakness is your key to strength
through God's grace and will. Admitting insufficiency of self is key to allowing God to do it for us (which is so much better but we would never choose it of ourselves!)

God bless and keep you. Today is my 5th birthday, solely through the grace of God. I say this not to draw attention or congratulations, no replies on this please, it's not my thread, but to add to our proof that

=there is a solution=. May you find it now.

I have been given the grace and support to walk through a large amount of situations which cause me fear (or "caused", as I'm becoming stronger for having been walked through them and taught new ways to deal with what once caused me to jump into a bottle.). I'm grateful for every day and for the unbelieveable gift of life and the consistent teaching of the removal of fear (which opens us to love and the desire to be of service). All of that is waiting for you. Ask any one of us about this.

God is everything, and offers everything, to the extent we give up and ask for it. I wish that you find everything and become happy, joyous, useful, and free through this simple program.

Regards,

-Mike
