Stressed out
I'm getting ready to start school, and right now things aren't so hot. I had to get a major car repair done yesterday that was unexpected (well, $500 is major to me) and I'm still trying to get my financial aid for school sorted out even though it's two weeks away. I guess the financial aid thing is really taxing me - to say that I need the money is an understatement, and it's just been one gigantic headache after another.

Things have pushed me to the point...not really to where I want to act out but really to where I just don't care. That's a scary place. I know that sooner or later something is going to snag me and pull me under, and I need some good vibes. I need to work to get into a spiritually fit condition, and soon.

Thanks, folks. :pals:

1. I hope this will be kind of helpful,
that is, please know that stress relating to paying for school is extremely widespread! Has happened to us (parents of 2, separated by 1 year from college attendance) for 8 years.

ALSO, I find that school administrators/financial aid types are very helpful and kind, and often come up with suggestions we hadn't thought of.

SO, you're not alone! and we're ALL pulling for you!

2. those are the days my prayers run like this
"Ok, God, if you want me to do this, I need some help here"

then I work on acceptance if things don't work out the way *I* think they should. Sometimes the things I thought were the worst possible outcome turned out to be a blessing in disquise.

Pray a little and believe. You'll end up right where you're supposed to be
