1. Alcoholism is the only disease that trys to convince you you aren't sick
next week?? WTF??

TOMORROW!!! early tomorrow.

go pour out the booze and go TONIGHT!

sweetie, I'm sorry you're hurting but can you admit that 'your way' isn't working? Try something new. Do something different.

pour out the booze and go TONIGHT! Doing the same thing over and over expecting different results is insanity.

2. Everything AZ Dem. said, and
get to one ASAP.

The longer you wait, the harder it is to get back on track.

5. Don't hate yourself, W8liftinglady!
We're addicts/alcoholics.

Slips happen.

I had one hell of a time getting sober for the greater part
of one year. But it hit, and I finally got a sobriety date.

Just get back in the saddle ASAP.

YOU'LL feel much better!

6. You want to live. The disease wants to die.
You want to have a happy life. The disease says "why bother". That's all it does. It's just a mechanism that can be managed through the steps. Give it room to run your life, and you won't have one.

There is a solution. You're worth something (anything inside you telling you otherwise is the disease; ignore it). Keep us updated, because we think you're worth bothering about.
