Small discoveries in my first few weeks of sobriety

1. I get to be one of those privileged people who orders iced tea.
2. Taco Bell serves a really good iced tea.
3. I like waking up early.
4. My dog likes me! He really likes me!
5. So much easier to keep the house clean.
6. I'd missed my friends.
7. I'll be working on that first step for a while, I think.
8. I have some big challenges coming up, but with the program's and God's help, maybe I'll meet them.

My vision improved as I sobered up, and I started
to see more color. While drinking, my world was
mostly grey, with very little color.

and Yeah! Waking up( vs. coming to) is quite a treat.
