I always say I'll just go get a bottle of Thunderbird and get it over with. No matter where I start, it's gonna end up with Thunderbird. Did you know they have FLAVORED Mad Dog now? And I missed out? oh well....

My husband and I amuse ourselves judging the rise in cost of living by the rising price of Thunderbird. He remembers this little ditty--
What's the word? Thunderbird. What's the price? 49 (cents)twice.

It was actually began my drinking career--I was so sick after guzzling that stuff I couldn't drink it for a couple of years. And was around there somewhere in the fuzzy, hard to remember end.

Cooking sherry would suffice, of course:-)
