Exercise Advice Often Ignores Jiggle FactorThe added jiggle and friction of moving body fat is more than just bothersome. It can alter people’s gait and make them more prone to injuries and joint problems. The discomfort prevents many overweight people from exercising altogether.
... But the jiggle factor, familiar to the overweight and the large-breasted, has been largely ignored by exercise researchers and most sports-gear makers. Only a handful of studies have tried to document the challenges and strain endured by large bodies in motion.

It's the first time I've seen anyone take this close a look at this issue. I mean, for years we thought it was all about fear of
looking silly in front of other, skinnier people. Seldom have I read serious consideration that we might feel truly, physically uncomfortable while exercising.
One lesson of this article is: don't be afraid of tight clothes. They can provide great structural support.
