Some agitprop: I have been struggling for year to regain
the figure I had when I was 21. This morning it occurred to me that years ago sewing patterns came in three types:

Juniors - for the undeveloped figure

Misses - for young women

Womens - for the mature figure

So, when did we decide that it was normal to keep the same figure we had when we were 21? What is so bad about looking matronly if you are a woman of a certain age?

1. Look the way you want to look
I realize that there is sometimes some pressure on women to look a certain way, but if you are comfortable the way you are, don't worry about it. If you want to lose weight I'll support you there as well.

I wanted to lose weight because I didn't like the way I looked and it was also starting to affect my health. My blood pressure was borderline high and my cholesterol was creeping up there. I'm a guy, btw.
