Hi! Been awhile since I posted. I found a great website that has helped me so much!
http://www.myfitnesspal.comI saw a woman on "Today" Joy Fit Club and she mentioned the website. The reason I like it is it figures in your calorie deficit needed to lose weight and then figures in your exercise calories. Using this website I came to the realization that all this time I WASN'T EATING ENOUGH.
I have been starving myself all this time because I wasn't eating more to make up for what I expended in exercise.
As of August 10, I've lost 9 pounds, but I've gained a ton of energy.
Now for the Zumba review - I did two weeks of introductory stuff and the 20 minute express because I wanted to make sure I had it down. The steps are tricky, but I was able to complete them.
Then I went on vacation and took care of my Mom after knee surgery. Gone 10 days.
I was able to get right back into it and start a "Lose a size in 10 Days" schedule. I just knew it would take longer than 10 days. Boy was I hugely surprised! Only 10 days and I was a full size smaller! I was never, ever sore. I've done 20 days now and some of my clothes are getting too big. Remember, I have only lost 9 pounds!
This part has never happened to me before - I am having to fasten my bras on the first hooks!
I have to say, I'm loving Zumba! Lots of fun, right up my alley (dancing, music) and the results so far have been amazing and quick!
