Pig
(apologies to pigs everywhere)

Clarence Thomas: Abortion Was Real Issue
"In the interview, Thomas also expresses an opinion of his accuser for the first time in public, saying of Hill, who waited 10 years to accuse him, "She was not the demure, religious, conservative person that they portrayed. That's not the person I knew," Thomas says. "She could defend herself, let's just put it that way ... She did not take slights very kindly and anyone who did anything, she responded very quickly." When Kroft rejoins, "Didn't take 10 years?" Thomas replies, "It didn't take 10 minutes."

2. Fuck him and the four other pieces of shit who are responsible for GWB
Of the fetid lot of them, Thomas and O'Connor are perhaps the most reprehensible.

The utter nerve of that fucksack to blame Anita Hill for Clinton's impeachment! What the holy ever living FUCK! :nuke:

Um, no Clarence, that travesty was courtesy of the same foul political operatives that got your sorry ass confirmed by slandering Hill. I've read David Brock's books and I know what happened.

5. Hey, better yet....
may clarence NEVER get fucked again!!! And may viagra make him go blind! lol!

On the serious side, I remember to this day the first time I saw him on TV when he was nominated...all I saw was evil and hatred in his eyes. He gave me goosebumps.

As such, he plays into their hands as a token minority.

Anytime someone says "there's no people of color on the Supreme Court" they can refer to that ass. Yeah, he's a minority. :eyes: He'd sell all women, people of color, gays and disabled people down the river without even thinking about it.

He totally represents OUR interests. :sarcasm:

7. Interesting Huffington Post commentary
Doesn't cover feminism exactly, but I have a hard time describing how appalling and disgusting I find Thomas. Even to the point where the comparison to O.J. simpson doesn't offend me.

Marty Kaplan
Mr. Justice Whoop-dee-damn-doo

We're working our way backward through the '90s. With OJ Simpson again on the national stage, it was inevitable that Clarence Thomas would follow. The Thomas confirmation hearings were a milestone in real-time mass-mediated American psychodrama. Before the Juice, there was Long Dong Silver. Before the bloody glove, there was the pubic-hairy Coke can. Before the suicidal white Bronco driver, there was the victimized black conservative martyr. Before there was OJ's jury nullification, there was Thomas' "high-tech lynching," which acquitted him right onto the Supreme Court.

I still recall being so obsessed by the Judiciary Committee hearings that I listened to them through an earphone while pushing a baby stroller through the mall. I remember watching Arlen Specter and Orrin Hatch hard at work, attempting to destroy Anita Hill, and finally understanding what the Salem Witch Trials must have been like. I remember being torn between awe at Chairman Joe Biden's pomposity and amazement at the goings-on in his scalp. I remember calling my friend Jack Rosenthal, then the editor of the editorial page of the New York Times, nearly every day, haranguing him to stiffen the Senate's opposition. To this day, I recall my revulsion at George H.W. Bush's cynically gleeful, preposterous attempt to frame the Thomas nomination as a filling of the Thurgood Marshall seat."

8. As I recall, MSM did not accurately suggest the huge opposition to Thomas from the public ....
and the support for Prof. Anita Hill -- ???

She did change things tho for the positive -- but a few of those Repug creeps are still in the Senate!!!

Hatch, Specter
