Champions League draw (Liverpool go to Wales)
The draw for the 1st qualifying round of the Champions League is as follows:

Liverpool v TNS
FC Haka v FC Pyunik
HB Torshavn v FBK Kaunas
Levadia Tallinn v Dinamo Tblisi
NK Gorica v SK Tirana
Kairat Almaty v Artmedia Bratislava
PFC Neftchi v FH Hafnarfjordur
FK Rabotnicki v Skonto Riga
Glentoran v Shelbourne
Dinamo Minsk v Anothosis Famagusta
Sliema Wanderers v Sheriff
F91 Dudelange v Zrinjski Mostar

Ties to be played 12/13 July and 19/20 July

The draw for the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League is as follows:

HB Torshavn/FBK Kounas v Liverpool/TNS
Levadia Tallinn/Dinamo Tbilisi v Brondby
Partizan Belgrade v Sliema Wanderers/Sheriff Tiraspol
Debrecen v Hajduk Split
Kairat Almaty/Artmedia Bratislava v Celtic
NK Gorica/SK Tirana v CSKA Sofia
Anderlecht v FH Neftchi/Hafanarjordur
Valerenga v FC Haka/FC Pyunik
Rabotnicki/Skonto Riga v Lokomotiv Moscow
F91 Dudelange/Zrinjski Mostar v Rapid Vienna
Dynamo Kiev v FC Thun
Malmo v Maccabi Haifa
Glentoran/Shelbourne v Steaua Bucuresti
Dinamo Minsk/Anorthosis Famagusta v Trabzonspor

Ties to be played 26/27 July and 2/3 August

So, Liverpool will be VERY pleased with that draw. There is talk that TNS will switch their tie to the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff (they did this when drawn against Manchester City in Europe last season) or to Wrexham's ground, The Racecourse. Now, if they play at Wrexham in North Wales, that is a very short distance for Liverpool to travel, and to think they could have had to travel to the very edge of Asia. They must be delighted. Glentoran v Shelbourne looks interesting too.

1. Yeah, I tell you what
NK Gorica vs. SK Tirana could be a bit explosive on the terraces...
