Katharine ‘Kay’ Griggs knows what it’s like to have a gun pointed in her face. She knows what it’s like to have her face slapped, her bones broken and her nose bloodied by her former bully of a husband, an active Marine Colonel and a man who she claims is “above the law and literally gets away with murder.”

Virginia court documents and photos of her battered arms and legs tell the sad and brutal physical story of her failed marriage, a tumultuous 11 year roller coaster ride ending in 1999.

But the real story for public consumption isn’t the private divorce court details. It is the secret military information about drug running, weapon sales, sexual perversion and assassination squads she learned firsthand from her husband, U.S. Marine Corps Col. George Raymond Griggs, now remarried and living in Mirror Lake, NH.

This isn’t the first time Griggs is going public with her story about government mob-like hit squads and the sexually perverted secret “cap and gown and skull and bone society” her husband belonged to along with other high-ranking Marine officers and public officials....

I've read a bit of what Kay Griggs claims before, but she's "wound a bit too tight" for my taste (Of course, that could be from the abuse, I don't know.) and she's quite homophobic.

I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about her. Is she reliable?

If you'd listen to more of what she has to say, you'd find she is not homophobic. I'd be curious to know where you got the impression that she is.
She is however "a proper and pleasant Virginian lady, steeped in the Protestant and (paleo) Conservative culture" as someone on the linked GNN forum puts it. That could explain her being wound a bit tight, though personally i think that's irrelevant.

If you want to know more about her, listen to what she has to say.
As to her reliability: would you just take anyone's word for it?

3. I downloaded all 7.3 hours of the recordings and listened

intently to them. That's how I got the idea.

I know that she's a proper Southern lady since I was also born and raised in the South where my ancestors have lived since the 1700's, and I'm well aware of the Protestant Conservative culture there. That is the reason I no longer reside there.

I was simply asking for information since I assumed you (or someone else here) might be more familiar with Mrs. Griggs' story than I am. Oh, and I don't believe my questions were off-topic.

Yes, she was quite interesting, but I find it difficult to believe everything she said. Perhaps I'm wrong.

4. Fair enough

Can you point to anything in particular she says that causes you to think she's homophobic? If i recall correctly she actually says a few times that she has nothing against homosexuality. She obviously does have problems with homosexuality being used to in effect brainwash people, though i can imagine people find it hard to believe that it is for real. It is pretty much the essence of her story; how people are compromised by perverting them. It comes back at every turn in her story, obviously in a negative way. But that's not the same as her hating homosexuals.

The discussion on GNN points out that she does make several mistakes regarding facts outside of her immediate experience, for instance Kissinger being a communist, the CIA being a mere distraction, and homosexuality being the downfall of the German government. Though much of that isn't entirely untrue either.
It is also shown that she does understand the US power structure, and much of what she says about that is corroborated by other sources.

The bigger problem regarding her story is that she is interviewed by someone of shady reputation who writes for a website that is known at DU as a hate site. However, her story is told by her, not by the person who does the interview. Saying that she is unreliable because the interviewer is unreliable would be a logical fallacy known as guild by association.

I'd recommend reading the comments on the GNN forum, in particular those by the user "Continuity".
