I notice when as a center lines up he usually points out towards the secondary.
What is he doing and/or saying? And for whom, the quarterback?

1. I think he is pointing out where the linebackers are lined up |

so that the offensive linemen can check their blocks. I hear Madden talking about this on Sun. night games when he says a certain defense is able to "disguise" their plays by switching around before the ball is hiked.
