I'm disgusted. It seems the young woman in question asked that charges not be filed last month.

The press conference certainly illustrated this was nowhere near consensual as well.

1. I don't ever believe stories

until I get to hear everything and evaluate it all for myself. Sadly, this man has been involved in other similar allegations, so it would not surprise me if he holds little regard for women as anything other than sex objects. A person like that is certainly capable of forcing himself on someone. Yet that does not mean what she said is the truth. I'll let it play out. Her desire to avoid criminal prosecution of BR causes me to doubt her credibility. The case against BR is more valuable if she takes money to keep quiet. Anyway, at the end of the day, I doubt we will ever know what really happened.

2. If you are a well known politician, rock band member, actor or athlete ...

you can attract the attention of good looking young women far easier than the average guy.

The problem is that they may be interested in far more than a simple one night stand. They may view you as a target.

Terry Bradshaw had some advise for Big Ben:

And you ask yourself, 'Would they pay any attention to you if you weren't, you know, who you are?' Of course not. Because I'm not that attractive, and neither is Ben. So it's nice that you can do that (Bradshaw flicks his arm, mimicking throwing a football).

"But he's got to be careful. Stay out -- I don't want to give him any advice, because he's not going to pay attention to me. <...> He's got an image problem right now. Best thing to do is don't ever put yourself in that position again. When you're through playing football, do whatever you want to do, but right now, stay clean. Stay out of trouble. Stay out of bars. Keep yourself clean."
