Report: Steelers Trade Pick For QB Byron Leftwich

The Steelers have just made a trade for a quarterback and it could give some indication of what they expect to happen with Ben Roethlisberger.

The team traded a seventh-round pick for Byron Leftwich.

The Steelers have not confirmed this; however, it has been reported on ESPN.com.

KDKA's Bob Pompeani reports the move could indicate a longer potential suspension for Roethlisberger.

He also reports the Steelers had 11 picks and could afford to make a deal like this one.

Leftwich spent 1 season with Steelers & was a good fill in. This could also mean Steelers are near a trade for Scumbag Roethlisberger.

As a Steeler fan I hope there is either a long suspension for Roethlisberger or they trade his fat ass.

It's heartbreaking when the 'face of the franchise' turns out to be a serial rapist. I'll be watching the next time he shows up at Heinz Field. Remember how Steeler fans greeted Stiff Clout when he returned to play against the Pittsburgh Maulers in their first game? It snowed pretty hard that day. All he did wrong was to not be Terry Bradshaw! They'll show Bad Ben how they feel. I'd sure like to see them get Oakland's first pick. Or the Brownies'. I'd settle for a used washing machine. I never want to see him wear the black and gold again.

Sid the Kid is giving the Pens some serious hope this year. Especially if Philly upsets Joisey.
