Flutie's Drop kick - first time in NFL since 1941
I've wondered when the last time the drop-kick was used. The answer was 1941, now it's 2006.

OK, anybody know when the last NCAA drop-kick was?

1. That was so cool.
Does Flutie have a shot at the NFL Hall of Fame? I know he doesn't really have the super stats but he's been a lot of fun to watch and is a really decent guy.

2. Don't know about HoF
But he'll be remembered longer than many who were.

I heard mention on ESPN that the last NFL drop-kick for a field-goal was 1937 and the last drop-kick in the CFL was 1988.

4. Aw, c'mon.
The NFL has unfortunately taken on the nickname of the No Fun League. A lot of those Week 17 games end up being like preseason games - playing your 2nd and 3rd stringers, hoping no one gets hurt. Why not mix it up a bit and entertain the people who spent their hard-earned bucks for a ticket?

5. As a Pats fan, this was the most fun loss I have experienced.
