estate sale score today
I needed new end tables that wouldn't block the vents and some kind of guest sofa/bed/futon/daybed something

I found two solid rock maple end tables and a trundle sofa for less than $150

woohoo!

1. It didn't take you long!
But nothing does, does it?!

They look great. First thing I thought was - maple. I love the warm look of maple and it always reminds me of true early American style. I think they fit New Mexico very well. What room are they in, the guest room?

3. I swear you must be a saint or something! Everything Bush
touches turns to chit, everything you attempt to gold (If you change your user name, from another thread, Midas, it should be!).

4. ROFL. I have lots of practice and this is the 5th estate sale and
I hit two auctions too looking for these pieces.

I still need a new dresser for my bedroom and some bookcases. the auction is 9/8 so i'll try them again

I also got the skinny from the estate sale lady. all the shops that say "Antiques" on them are just used furniture stores mostly so my horizons are broadened already

5. Those are great!
Are you going to recover the trundle sofa? That plaid is... interesting. In a Chinese curse sort of way. It doesn't really fit with everything else I've seen you post.

But the frame is lovely, and those tables are great.

6. yes, I was planning on making slipcovers for the trundle
but since it's in a room by itself and currently it's the only fabric in there there is no rush LOL
