Angel Food Ministries
I just placed an order with a church that is part of the Angel Food Ministries network. Yes, it's Christian-based, but I wasn't asked anything about whether I go to church or not nor did anyone try to proselytize. I simply went in, signed up, & paid for my order. It can be picked up later this month.

The cost per month is $30 & the menu blew my mind away. It's enough to feed me for at least one month! :wow:

The website is www.angelfoodministries.com , and lists the states & towns that have these ministries. (Check out the menus!) The local church doesn't require you to be a member of their church or have a certain income, but I'm not sure if the others do or not. You might have to check with them individually.

3. Looks like a great deal for people with month left at the end of the money
I guess I've got somebody else to contribute to now.

4. There was a box from Angel Food Ministries in my next-door
neighbor's trash. I was wondering what it was. Well, now I know. She is a single mother with two small children and she can use any help. In fact, she couldn't pay her propane gas bill, so the company came and took away the tank. She doesn't even have any heat.

5. I have bought froom them a few times.
It's a very good deal. But since I am trying to stick with a diet plan, only about half the items in any given month fit my plan. I'll probably use them more when I have more flexible meal planning ability.
