Do Muslims believe in the ability to contact loved ones after they have
passed on? Also, do Muslims believe in any kind of parapsychology. One more question regarding the muslim religion (no offense intended), do you believe more in creationism or evolution or equally in both?

1. I can only speak for myself
and the sect of Islam called the Sufis. There is a rich tradition of Sufis meeting with those who have passed over, and of transporting themselves from one place to another. Nuradin Jarrahi is said to have conveyed his students from Turkey to the Kaaba during Ramadan during one night's zkr (a ceremony of remembrance). There have been many dreams Sufi initiates have had that deal with those who have passed over--I have a good sister and friend who uses one of the Masters who has passed over as a teacher, in fact. Realize that Sufism is the mystical sect of Islam; some more conservative branches consider Sufis heretics.

Since the founder of my order, Pir-o-Murshid Haz. Inayat Khan, talked about the evolution of the soul, the unfoldment of the soul, I would say that most Sufis I know understand and believe in evolution--but also know that all Allah has to do is say "BE" and a thing can be created.

2. Thanks for your question
Like the poster above I can only speak for myself and the Muslim friends and colleagues I know but here are some of the things I have observed...

> Do Muslims believe in the ability to contact loved ones after they have passed on?

No, however...

Praying for the dead, asking forgiveness for them, and giving charity on their behalf are some of the things God causes the dead in their graves to benefit from and be protected by.

> Do Muslims believe in any kind of parapsychology?

None that I have ever observed.

> Do you believe more in creationism or evolution or equally in both?

From my experience you would probably get as mixed a variety of opinions from Muslims on this as you would the general population. I believe God created everything that exists. You can see from this article on Wikipedia quite a variety of opinions as well:

I considered a number of viewpoints. Whatever viewpoint I took the end result would not change my religion or my belief in God, so I don't spend much time debating or reflecting on this particular issue.
