Any Iranian's here?
Do many Iranians have surnames that reflect their home town, like the Middleton's were from Middleton Wales? I have found a town In Iran with my surname. My dad says we are Armenian, but I haven't found any solid proof. Culturally we are German.

I have traced my name to people living in East Prussia and Lithuania. Which could mean they are native there, or migrated north out of Armenia. Could some Armenians settled in this one area and gave it their name, or was given that name for the family that lived there.
