Jihad - how is the term defined?
I'm being told by someone in GD that jihad doesn't mean any of the things I've been taught it does mean, and that its meaning is to wage holy war on the West or whoever Islam hates. Does anyone have information on what the term means and why the Westernised 'translation' is so narrow and crude in its meaning?
