I've made one contrubution to the Rebuild the Coast Fund (
http://www.rebuildthecoastfund.org) and intend to make more.
I'd go down there and work if I could afford the time off, but unfortunately, that's not an option at this time.
I'm thinking about offering this bumper sticker...as nothing but neglect, wrong-headedness, and lawlessness has come from the Executive for anyone, expecally the people of the Gulf...and 100% of all proceeds go to the Rebuild the Cost Fund.
It's sort of a general bumpersticker...but that may have more appeal, and garner more contributions.
From the "Rebuild the Coast Fund webpage:
This Fund and Your Donation
A unique advantage of giving to the Rebuild The Coast Fund is that 100 percent of your donation will be given directly to Mississippi families in the devastated areas. The administrative and operating costs are covered by another donation. You will even be able to check this website later to monitor who received donations and how the funds are being used.
Here's the sticker:

Here's the situation...

What do you all think?
(Whatever you think...remember the people of the Gulf Coast this holiday season...and beyond.)
Edited to say: I'll make the contributions transparent, and post the figures and contribution receipts here at DU for all to track.
