2. Really? Did you just wander by?
Cool!

Yeah, any time you want to go on a photo spree, exploration, or recreation and you want company let me know. I'm off on weekends except for watching my grandson sometimes.

It was good to meet ya.

3. Had to stop into the Burke's Outlet.
Your tree was parked under the only meaningful shade tree in the lot. My car's interior is dark and sucks up heat like nobody's business, so I always park in the shade when I can. It took me a while to put 2 and 2 together, though, and realize I did know who that blue car belonged to--at first, with the Missouri plates, I figured you were either a volunteer or an Air Force person.

5. Ah, so you've met my shade tree.
The only one on the block. Some won't park under her for fear of gooey tree droppings. Such things would only enhance my vehicle.

4. Hi HeeBGBz....
Just saw the title to this group right now and was wondering about you. Did you ever see the footage of you in the aftermath of the storm that I saw?
The one w/ Anderson Cooper while you were throwing buckets of water on the seal?

So sad.:-(

Are you still in your camper?

Good to see your post today. How's the little dog?

6. No, never saw anything on tv

I never talked to Cooper, but there was a CNN video guy down there. There was a small article from a really nice newsguy from Baltimore (I think).

Mikey is living with a nice lady in Canada now. Thanks to a rat terrier rescue bunch. He's doing well.

How are you? Do you still travel a lot?

Way too much. Where are you these days?

and, on edit,....you must have just not seen the reporter Anderson, because everything that you described was in that scene with the seal.
There were so many horrific images.
But I do remember seeing (what I think was you...) a lady just so methodically pouring bucket after bucket on that poor seal....and my thoughts at the time were, "Thank God that lady is helping that poor seal....survive just a little easier...maybe just a little," at least you were with the poor thing.

I will never forget so many of those images. I still cry to this day.

8. Well that does sound like me
I wish I'd seen it.

I'm back in Biloxi and doing well, thanks. It's good to be back around my kids and grandkids.

10. No, I sold the camper and the dream that went with it
I live in an apartment. One of the few available, so I guess I'm lucky.
