I pretty much avoid any news coverage that rehashes Katrina, but there is a big uptick right now.

1. I am glad they are covering it, to keep it in the eyes of the public. But I'm avoiding it

I don't need to see it to remember and know you don't either.

Best wishes to you and all. Edited to add, how are you doing these days?

2. I am doing well, thanks. And you?
I am planning to go to Jazz Fest next year - it's time I made another visit.

I can deal with the *New* New Orleans, I just still have trouble with the recaps. I have never really spoken of what I saw.

I hope you are well!

3. Life is interesting. Many have it worse so don't complain too much.
Someday maybe you will speak to someone, if you find the right person, right time. I always wanted to see New Orleans and one of my regrets is not seeing it until after Katrina hit. I'd like to go back now, Jazz Fest would be great.

4. Yes
I am still going through it... the after effects of the storm.

I don't talk about this very much.

5. I don't talk about it much either, Swampy.
I tend to avoid documentaries, etc, because it is still too hard. I am not sure I will ever tell my story.
