A friend of mine, a secretary, is looking for jobs that will allow her to work from home. She's interested in doing things like putting together presentations, data entry (she's an Excel whiz), and transcribing.
We were talking yesterday about scam jobs that are often advertised. How can she find legitimate companies that will provide a consistent flow of work? (She doesn't need medical insurance because she's covered by a family member's policy.)
The other thing we were wondering, what kinds of jobs are out there? We discussed medical transcribing but that involves getting certified to do it. What about medical records data entry? Legal transcribing? Interview transcribing?
Can someone recommend some resources for this kind of work? Or suggestions we could follow-up? Even phrases to google would be helpful!
She's a smart solid reliable and trustworthy person. Whoever hires her and treats her with respect will have a very hard-working and dedicated employee. I know because I've worked with her. She's a wonderful lady, and I really want to help her find a job that she'll enjoy
