That's the final sentence of the e-mail I received confirming my job interview. The job sounds so perfect for me (right down to its 20-minute reverse commute) I must have written the description in my sleep. I'm so determined to make a good impression, I'm even planning to wash my car!
But seriously, folks, I know it's important to take this "no suit necessary" thing seriously, especially since the company is young-minded and high tech. I'm sure that if I show up in the traditional dark matching (skirt) suit, I'll look like a fuddy-duddy fears thinking out of the box. So I'm thinking that the way to go is business casual. I'll wear my suit jacket, but I'll add constrasting slacks and low-heeled shoes instead of a matching skirt and pumps, plus a shirt in a color other than white. How does that sound?
