Job hunting in small towns |
|
Any advice on how to get a job in a small town?? I have had 3 interviews where I got close to job but it went to person that has lived here longer. We moved here about a year ago. Because of some moves in the last 5 years before we moved out of state to build, I have had several jobs in a short time which doesn't look good. The last job I stayed on for 6 years ended 3 years ago.
Anything I can do??? I am thinking of volunteering in the town to meet people.

1. Volunteering would be a good way to |

bulid contacts. I would also suggest you cast your net a little wider. Maybe search in several of the nearby towns too, not just where you live.
