I need tips on finding a job.

Gosh, this is a frustrating period of years. First, I get fired for something silly and then next, I can't get re-hired by a previous employer b/c they said I was absent nearly 7 days when I'm certain was only absent 1. I want to just give up, but know I can't, but need help.
