1. Frightening
And with the head in the sand approach of our current Administration who knows when and if serious measures will be undertaken to counter these effects?

2. Let's take it to the next step. What are we going to do with this planet?
I propose starting up an example town to showcase this next generation of ecological solutions working in concert so people can see how well they can work together and how little they would really affect their lives.

It starts with approaching the town area by what is around it and using that to an advantage. THen by blending modern tech, mother nature's own worker's and a bit of ingenuity you end up with homes htat produce 80# less drain for heating and cooling, that produce less pollution and are also safe from bad weather, businesses that help out for tax credits by putting things onto their roof space to harness unused space and energy. Factories that are encased in domes to prevent accidents and where algae cleans their fumes of Carbon monoxide and dioxide.

Sound like a dream? It's able to become a reality easily, just ask me how.

6. But wait, aren't we more worried about cheap gas?
After all, isn't that our primary objective, to make sure that cheap gasoline for the SUV's and other gas guzzling cars are available?

I would have thought so, since no one has celebrated the higher gas prices and showed how it can help save our planet. I tried to in one thread, and was soundly denounced as elitist. So our planet must take a back seat to Joe Citizens Expedition or Suburban.

7. your point is well taken
Unfortunately, most are just a cog in the wheel. IF there is no alternative transportation in their area it is a major expence to those whom can least afford it.
