Speaker condemns West over freezing funds to Hamas government

Sunday, April 23, 2006; Posted: 8:56 a.m. EDT (12:56 GMT)

"Parts of audiotape purportedly from Osama bin Laden aired Sunday on an Arabic-language TV network in which the al Qaeda leader attacks the West for cutting off funds to the Palestinian Hamas-led government. The remarks about the halting of funds suggest the tape is relatively recent.

Al-Jazeera, which is based in Qatar, said the new tape is from bin Laden. CNN could not immediately confirm the tape's authenticity.

The speaker on the tape says "the opposition to the Hamas government is proof of the crusade against Muslims."

The remarks about the halting of funds suggest the tape is relatively recent. The United States and some other Western nations have officially halted contributions to the Palestinian government since Hamas took over."

He always relases his tapes wheneever Der Fuhrer is in trouble!

And his Bush Campaign Video/October Surprise in 2004! A masterwork that even George Orwell could not have improved on!

4. Don't you wonder if he is really alive?
Besides, what the hell did Hammas expect when they openly want to destroy Israel and are active in bombing it. They sure don't have my sympathy.

8. Supposedly, bin Laden communications are signals to cells to launch
attacks. The last communication was soon followed by the unsuccessful attack on the Saudi oil facility.

11. Who really cares
what bin Laden says any more?

Someone please just go and nab him or if not just let's forget this whole war on terror thing, it's getting into tired "he says, she says" territory.

12. Mr. 33% cares, and hopes you're scared.
Scared enough, in fact, that you'll vote Republican in November. But remember, * "just doesn't spend that much time thinking about him."

15. Turned on the TV This Morning
It was on CNN and there he was. I was ROFLAO. I wonder if 33 was the magic number when he had to be pulled out. It is good to start the day with a laugh.

17. hilarious
I can't speak for the rest of you, but I suddenly feel the need to look to W. for wisdom and a sense of security. I'm just glad I haven't gotten the latest zogby poll yet, because let me tell you, this changes everything.

(If anyone needs me, I'll be in the kitchen clearing off space on my fridge so I have room to put up a portrait of my president.)
