What a treat to wake up to my Sunday paper and see that the Hartford Courant devoted virtually the entire front page to Ned Lamont, with a big color photo and "Out of The Shadows" banner headline! Poor Joe!

2. There are a lot of newly registered, newly engaged Democrats

running around the country these days, many energized by sites like DU and others, and Ned Lamont rings their chimes in a way Joe Lieberman doesn't.

I'm with babylonsister -- from afar I'm rooting for Ned in this one.

3. I already see one Ned Lamont yard sign

on my way to work in the morning. Also Joe is running ads, not the sign of a senior senator happy with the current campaign environment.

start getting the message that this may predict their futures if they sell out to the corporate interests and continue abandoning their base. I'm gonna do all I can to send that message home to them by backing a real democrat (Tasini) against Hilary this time around.
