How to save Bush's presidency.
How Bush can save his presidency:
Recapture the flag on homeland security by firing Rumsfeld. This will not only show leadership and “tough love” but will also encourage the support of the independents who have left him in droves. This will also remove a lightning rod for controversty so he can continue saving his presidency.

Call for a stand down on tax cuts. Again tough love. Even his base is not willing to call for an end to the bleeding in our deficits, but he can. He has absolutely nothing to lose by doing this.

Fire Rove. Like DeLay was in District 22, Rove is a focal point for corruption and it looks like his administration is condoning it. When DeLay quit, it deflated the anti-DeLay squads. Fire Rove and it will deflate the Democrats.

Make gas prices a priority. Work to normalize relationships with Venezuela who provides the United States with 2nd largest source of oil. Create a task force to understand why gas prices are so high. Demand hearings with the CEOs of the oil companies and put them under oath.

Demand hearings on who provided false information to Congress and the Administration that led us to war in Iraq. Enough said on this.

These are just a few ideas that could prossibly save Bush’s presidency, and our country, and the world.

1. In order to make those gas prices to go down,
he'd have to stop his belligerent posturing on Iran, something the little banty rooster will never do.

Forget about saving this presidency. It's gangrenous and moribund. Just put it out of its misery and move on.

10. Resignation is the only hope for him now
There's no "saving" this president or this presidency. Impeachment is too good for him.

3. Why give this prick any good advice?
Unless this moron bombs Iraq and gets us all killed in the process, let the Democrats make these campaign issues in 06' and win back the Congress. If this bastard follows your advice, we're stuck with repigs forever.

5. A FEW more.
Discuss and completely vent election theft in Florida in the 2000 election.
Admit what happened on 9/11 as well as Government culpability in covert operations.
Completely release all information of prior Presidential administrations.
Release documents on secret energy talks.
Show time-line on false intelligence and administration lies that led to the Iraq invasion.
Open books on the connections of the Bush and Bin Laden family.

Finally:

SURRENDER TO INTERNATIONAL COURTS FOR WAR CRIMES

16. Thank You
The list can get longer and longer.

At sometime in the future Bush needs to really consider a religious doctrine that allows for forgiveness.

6. "Call for a stand down on tax cuts" Hell would freeze over before
that greedy bastard would even consider doing that. He benefits greatly from the tax cuts he doled out to the rest of the greedy pigs.

7. excuse me...do you actually want Bush's pResidency saved?
After Bush is impeached...this might save our country

1.) Get rid of the department of homeland security and repeal the so called patriot act.

2.) REPEAL the tax cuts on the rich and provide tax fairness for everyone, especially the working poor and middle class.

3.) Prosecute Rove for his part in the CIA leak and throw his ass in jail.

4.) Who needs a task force? Its called GOUGING and bad energy policy. Cap oil profits.

5.) There was no false information, only bad information that was cherry picked and given to Congress and the American public. BUSH and this administration provided the false information and those responsible should be prosecuted and thrown in jail when found guilty. Period.

11. Well, it looks like *'s pResidency is doomed then.
I don't believe Bush is willing or able to reconcile US relationships between US international corporate despotism with the rather radical "post-colonial" socialism of Chavez any more than Bush can reconcile relationships with Cuba.

bushco will definitively go down as the WORST president and administration in the history of our nation, or what's left of IT.

14. Bush is too proud to do this. And too stupid.
These make sense. They will take the wind out of the sails of the Democrats, but he is too proud and stupid to do it.

If Rove is indicted while in office, it would hurt, but if he has been fired, then indicted, it is less.

this is all to save the republicans in 2006. Nothing more. There is nothing to save in Bushes presidency.

17. The Republican Party should have become extinct in 1973.
There is probably a need for a political party with conservative values, it is not the Republican Party in the latter half of the 20th and early 21st Century.
