Bin Laden … Is he really alive or dead.

I know there have been audiotapes of ‘Bin Laden’ that the CIA and others say is likely him but that is not proof. I will not be satisfied he is really alive until he surfaces on tap directly talking about new events or showing a newspaper or something verifying the time and date.

As far as I can remember the last proof of his existence was the one tape where he talked about the towers falling or at least that is what I have been told.

I can think of only a few reasons he has not showed up on videotape. One he is dead, two he is very ill or his appearance has changed.

8. That's hard to avoid
sometimes, just to tempting.

Sometimes I want to answer that way when someone asks if it was a boy or a girl. "Yes, it was". OK, I have done that.
The world is so full of straight lines.

3. Either way....it's just another sign the * cabal screwed up this
whole thing. They had an opportunity to mitigate any impact that he would have and they blew it...or they intentionally didn't remove him so they could use the fear card.....

Just another failure...move along folks nothing to see here...

4. If he were dead and the White House knew it....
hell, Bush would milk it for all it's worth.

Bin Laden is still very much alive.

In whatever fashion that may be BUT he sure conveniently pops up when it serves this regime.

9. I don't know. He easily culb be hiding in open site in
the mountains of Pakistan, and getting his daily laughs watching Shrub, Rummy and the troops in Iraq.

It's possible he's dead, but I find it hard to believe is followers would have kept that silent. Don't ya think they'd want to openly honor their fallen leader????

10. I think that video of him talking about the towers was faked
for a couple of reasons. First, he wrote something down using his right hand, and he's left handed. Second, there is a shot of him wearing a gold watch. Strict Wahhabists like bin Laden don't wear gold.

Whether or not he is alive is a moot point. What is more relevant is when "he" makes pronouncements-they always seem to be planned so that Bush comes out ahead.

12. I have no doubts he is alive
and so are the other top leaders responsible for 9-11. Bush would certainly take advantage of any credit he could get in his capture. The fact that Bush is so quiet about it means he is still alive and doing fine.

19. Dead as a dodo?
Dead as a dodo? Not necessarily
Anna Salleh, ABC Science Online

Thursday, 20 November 2003

...Just because an animal hasn't been seen for a long time, doesn't mean it's extinct, according to statistical research that sheds new light on the plight of the dodo.

...Accurately estimating when a species becomes extinct is difficult as rare individuals can survive undetected for years after they are last seen. While the idea that an animal is not necessarily extinct just because it hasn't been seen for a while may seem obvious, extinction dates have traditionally been set as the date of last sighting.

...To work out the 'new' dodo extinction date the researchers used actual sightings of the animal but Cooper said that fossil data could be used as a substitute.

However he said he would "be inclined to raise my eyebrows" at the idea of applying the concept to the extinction of the dinosaurs because he did not think there would be accurate enough data.

20. Probably dead.
Pretending he's alive helps the bushies hang onto power, and it helps Al Qaeda, so they're not telling either. I believe the December 2001 death scenario.

Whenever the bushies need a boost, poof! up pops another tape. :eyes:

21. I think he's been dead a long, long time
and his buddies have a lot of fun pretending to be him.

And I think the CIA probably knows or at least suspects it but for whatever reason, they don't admit it.

23. Drives a cab in Brooklyn...
or does it matter after all?
There are only two schools of thought remaining about this affair:
either the idiot president is even more stupid than we thought (entirely possible),
or bin Laden is not meant to be caught for political reasons (also very possible).

There certainly seems to be more here than meets the ear.

25. What nonsense.
Just because the fascists ruling the US are liars does not mean that nutcases like bin Laden or Falwell or Dobson are imaginary. Unfortunately, religious fanatics are rather commonplace and all too real.
