Bush Impeachment - The Illinois State Legislature is Preparing to Drop a Bombshell
Utilizing a little known rule of the US House to bring Impeachment charges

The Illinois General Assembly is about to rock the nation. Members of state legislatures are normally not considered as having the ability to decide issues with a massive impact to the nation as a whole. Representative Karen A. Yarbrough of Illinois' 7th District is about to shatter that perception forever. Representative Yarbrough stumbled on a little known and never utlitized rule of the US House of Representatives, Section 603 of Jefferson's Manual of the Rules of the United States House of Representatives, which allows federal impeachment proceedings to be initiated by joint resolution of a state legislature. From there, Illinois House Joint Resolution 125 (hereafter to be referred to as HJR0125) was born. <snip>

I am not optimistic. Both houses are controlled by Republicans, and, considering that electronic voting machines are still in wide use, it is extremely unlikely that that people will get elected who would fight for accountability.

but the problem is the democratic governor is facing a tough election and daly ,the mayor of chicago,is under investigation by fitzgerald as is the governor'

9. I think you're missing the point, brainshrub. The point is to get AROUND

Bush's "pod people" in Congress, and first of all get the bill of impeachment filed, as a privileged resolution--which it will be, according to Thomas Jefferson's Rules. THEN what do they do? It has to be investigated and dealt with. Meanwhile, Bush's approval sinks to 20% and Cheney's to under 10%. This can only be bad for the Powers of Darkness. Then, say, ANOTHER state adds THEIR bill of impeachment, also filed under Jefferson's Rules. The Republicans are now facing an electorate in revolt--likely to give the Democrats such a blowout success in '06 that it will bust the goddamned election theft machines, and put the Dems in charge in Congress. And Patrick Fitzgerald indicts Karl Rove, in addition to having indicted Libby, and BOTH of the chief aides to Bush and Cheney are on trial for perjury and obstruction of justice, and maybe sorely tempted to finally tell the truth--and point to their bosses--on the treasonable charge of outing a CIA agent and an entire CIA WMD counter-proliferation network, putting many US covert agents and contacts at risk of getting killed.

There is only so much pressure that the "pod people" can endure before they have to abandon Bush/Cheney. And they are not the thuggery machine they once were. In fact, they're on the run.

Anyway, you see what I'm getting at. OF COURSE the Bugs are in charge of Congress. The point is to shine a light on them and make them scurry--all the better to....
