While we are at it....more speculation about the Bush marriage...
Someone who has had correct "inside the beltway" gossip before, and is a friend of my Dad's (He used to work for the government, but now he is in the private sector...the friend is apparently a buddy of *sr as well) claims that the Bush marriage is in so much turmoil due to Georgie drinking like a fish, that Laura has moved out of the WH and into a hotel. The fact that we never see them together, and there is no wedding ring makes this a credible theory to me. Plus, it is so fun to think about:P.

If the Xanaxed one did move out and leave the Boy King, then good for her. I never thought I would say THAT:crazy:

1. It couldn't happen to a nicer couple...
So the Stepford wife has a conscience...hmmm...I would absolutely believe that story.

2. Rich people don't have to move to hotels.
She would simply be spending "more time at the ranch." Or visiting her daughters. Or making a goodwill tour.

There are a million ways for a political couple to avoid each other.

And if she didn't want to do any of that, there are undetectable poisons.

5. I don't doubt the possibility that their marriage has big problems,
but the hotel part is a real streach! There's way too many eyes in DC for that to happen. Now, does she spend a lot of time elsewhere? That's sure a possibility! Like another poster said, more time at the ranch, with the girls, etc.

Gees, wouldn't the fundies freak if Laura decided to really LEAVE the Shrub! Talk about a Party split! They love them both. Wonder whose side they'd take???? Hmmmm

and probably do.

They are both clueless.

20. Imagine the pressure she'd come...
...under if she were to start making noises about leaving at this point in Chimpy's illegitimate rein. They'd never allow it. Never.

10. Yes, she was. She wouldn't move out if she caught him sacrificing kids
to Satan. They're both killers.

8. She is getting paid way too much money from the Bush parents to leave him
Edited on Sun Apr-23-06 10:50 PM by BrklynLiberal
Perhaps after he leaves office. Right now she will continue the farce until at least after the midterm elections.
Or perhaps she will meet wtih some sort of "unfortunate accident". I would not put anything past his mother.

9. There is no marriage with Bush lost in the polls, Bush, too much confusion
right now, everyone and his brother is under investigation or indicted, with Rove getting ready to step up to the plate -- if Rove is impeached will he able to effectively do any good got the GOP??

11. Can't you just picture Laura at the No Tell Motel, ordering room
service and tearing the paper strip off the toilet before peeing? Wonder if she saves the little shampoo and conditioner freebee bottles and gives them to the twins as souvenirs?

No, I can't either. But it is a funny mental image.

13. Good..maybe if his marriage is shot he'll get a BJ and we can impeach the
mofo..it is, after all the only impeachable offense. Thank Jeebus for our wise and powerful founding fathers. They understood the terror that is the blow job. Of course, in 1790 it was called "powdering the whig"

i doubt mr. gannon would much care if * got it on w. his wife but there were many years there when mr. ashe would have been only a little bitter and i still wonder how he feels abt being retired to poland

i have no real reason to assume that * unlike all other severe alcoholics/drug abusers has been able to "perform" in the active position for all these beers and years
