Cop's Son Questioned in Natalee Holloway's Disappearance

ORANJESTAD, ARUBA (AP) -- The former lead investigator in the disappearance of an Alabama teenager said Sunday that his 19-year-old son has been questioned as a witness in the still-unsolved case. Aruban Police Commissioner Gerold Dompig told The Associated Press that police investigating the disappearance of Natalee Holloway have twice questioned his 19-year-old son, Michael -- with one of those interviews occuring after the April 15th arrest of Geoffrey van Cromvoirt, who is also 19.

I think that some VERY pertinent questions need to be asked. Isn't it common sense when you go to a foreign country where the native languange isn't one you understand, where you don't know anything substantial about the country and culture, where you aren't known to people outside of your visitting group, not to get into a car with one guy, elt alone more that one and go off AT NIGHT to God only knows where, after a night of drinking? First of all, why is a 17 year old DRINKING in a FOREIGN COUNTRY??@!! What ever happened to that poor girl is something SHE DID NOT DESERVE but you don't place yourself in the path of a ongoing train and then be surprised when you're run over.

A VERY basic lesson my mother taught me was DON'T ACCEPT RIDES FROM STRANGERS!! And I was in my own country, speaking the language and understanding the culture. I JUST DON'T GET IT...

I knew not to do that from the time I was about 3 years old. Why is it such s shock that Sister girl disappeared after getting in to a car, tipsy with three strange guys? :banghead:
